It gets batter with love
At first, I came up with the idea for this venture from watching RuPaul’s Drag Race. The show is funny and glamorous, but what caught my attention the most were the stories the drag queens told about their experiences growing up. Many of their parents had trouble accepting them, and many still do. A lot of times the drag queens would end their stories talking about how they had found their chosen family after having to leave their biological family. They found people who truly accepted them. I want to help the lgbtq+ youth who have been cast out, or live with people who refuse to accept them for who they are, to find their own chosen families. I want to help them be able to get the love and care they deserve.
I went to Dragcon N.Y.C this year, which was a place filled with the most love I have ever seen. No one was judging anyone for their faults and strangers were having intimate conversations with each other. I want to do my part to help the world slowly become like that, and you can too by buying these baked goods. I am going to give 100% of all profits to lgbtq+ youth to set them on the path to find their chosen families.
